How SNAPCARD protects your financial information

SNAPCARD uses bank grade security systems and data encryption to protect you and guard against any unauthorized transactions and access to your personal or financial information. If you suspect that there has been any unauthorized activity on your account, please contact us immediately at support@snapcard.io—we’re here to help.

Encryption & storage

All of your financial information is encrypted, stored and protected on secure servers. On the web, [https] and a green bar is your signal that encryption is working and active. Our systems are inspected and certified by industry leading security experts to ensure that we’re meeting or exceeding industry standards and best practices.

Keep yourself safe

SNAPCARD is designed for payments between friends, companies and people who trust each other. Avoid sending payments to people you don't know, especially if it involves a sale for goods and services (like event tickets and Craigslist items). These payments are potentially high risk, and you could lose your money without getting what you paid for. We don’t permit merchants to sell goods through our SNAPCARD wallet, nor do we offer buyer or seller protection. Business usage of SNAPCARD requires explicit authorization through our online platform. For more information, please see view our User Agreement.

To add an additional layer of security to your SNAPCARD account, please consider adding two-factor authentication to your account. Visit support.snapcard.io to learn more, or simply contact us at support@snapcard.io
